The views from my room were absolutely stunning, with a picturesque backdrop of the lake that transformed every moment into a postcard. I was treated to an incredible breakfast buffet, featuring local cheeses and pastries that made mornings magical. The on-site restaurant served scrumptious dishes, from the mixed board of appetizers to the delectable lasagna, enhancing my local culinary experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Albergo Silvio. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive to every need, and the stunning views from my balcony overlooking Lake Como were breathtaking, making each moment delightful. Breakfast served in the dining area added to the charm with its lovely setting.

Unfortunately, I faced multiple issues with my room. I had booked a Double Room with Balcony, but was instead placed in a disabled access room that was not what I wanted. The shower drain was blocked, leaving me standing in water that leaked into the bedroom. Although the reception staff were polite and tried to assist, they were unable to offer a suitable room alternative due to full bookings, which left me quite disappointed.

Communication about room locations leaves much to be desired!!! The air conditioning struggles with heat, and there are issues with cleanliness, making you question the attention to hotel maintenance!!! Room temperature control is abysmal!!!

Views from the room and brekkie are killer! Watched the sunrise over the lake with a good coffee every morning. The staff were super friendly and made us feel lekker at home.

The walk back to town can be a bit dodgy at night, but you just take it slow and enjoy the scenery.

The ‘Superior Double Room with Lake View’ was awesome! The balcony had a stunning view of the lake – perfect for relaxing with tea. The size of the room felt cozy yet spacious enough. Staff helped us enjoy our stay. The location was quiet but just a short walk into town. The breakfast views were breathtaking too. Couldn’t have asked for more comfort while enjoying beautiful Bellagio!
